She Waved ‘Bye Bye’ to Lottery Winnings…

So, recently, a Windsor Resident who cashed in around $3.5million in winning lottery tickets, has been issued to go to court and be jailed…by her husband!

She Apparently spent all the money so fast, she asked herself where it all went. Including in the outrageous spending, was pre-paid funerals, totalling above $300,000! C-R-A-Z-Y

Her husband has reportedly asked for his ‘estrainged’ wife to be jailed for contempt of court. But, im not worried about that. Im still in shock of how she spent all that money…so fast! Pre-Paid funeral arrangements, come on!!! Where is she being buried? Ridiculous is what i say! Bet im not the only one!

Dentists keep lookout between Winsdor – Chatham!

An Article i read this morning, stated that a Chatham resident, had her car broken into, and had Dentist Assistant Exam notes, stolen from her car. This happened just a day before the exam, that she was hoping would give her the job of a new Dentist Assistant.

I must admit, i have never heard of anyone just breaking into a car for Dentist Notes…so, this probably was an average car robbery, and they took what they could get in a short amount of time.

All that needs to be done now, is Dentists between Windsor – Chatham keep a look out. You get a rather strange, and tense new assistant in your surgery, then call the police, because its probably the man/woman who stole from the car!

Just as people enjoyed it…Freeze!!

Windsor Weather - The Weather Network

I been on and off Facebook and msn talking to people etc..and they are just loving the Winter Weather that Windsor has been getting over the last couple weeks. Been very mild for this time of year especially. Yesterday in fact, got to around 10C, when normally its the opposite of that, and more below freezing.

Well, according to Weather reports for this week to come, it will get to that. Darn it! Knew it wouldn’t last too long. Just enough for people to enjoy it and start taking to it, it will get snatched away, and freeze will replace it.

Apparently by the middle of this week, it will drop to a low of around -10C, which is pretty normal for now, but will probably feel a lot colder than that, as it has been mild lately. As well all know! Who knows though, Weather reporters have a reputation for getting it wrong sometimes.

So…Cat Torture story was weird for me last night

So the other day, i posted thoughts in the Recent ‘Cat Torture’ story, that happened a couple of days ago in Windsor. Also, The Windsor Star reported on this too.

Last night, something strange, and Shocking happened. As an 18yr old, im on Facebook, but so are many others in Windsor, and i noticed that a lot of my friends, were commenting on one guys status, or writing on his wall. Obviously something was wrong, so i headed over to see what they were writing, as i didn’t have him on my friends list (thank god). When i did, O-M-G, now i know the guy who was the freak!!

The posts on his wall, after one of his friends broadcasted it, were not the most welcoming messages in the world. But hey, he deserves it! Takes some sick minds to do that to their own animal, and do it as fun. Obviously he is getting punishment from the Windsor Police, but I can safely say, he is not the most popular person around with others in Windsor Right now. Especially now they know who it is.

Love the new Coolness of this place!

Well, im loving the new Coolness added to Windsor Regional Hospital today! Great news for young patients too, as the Hospital has been kitted out with a brand new room for the kids to chill out in, and feel like they are in surfers paradise!

The Room was equipped with Plasma TVs on the Walls, Surfboard shaped seats, and in a blue ocean theme. This is Awesome! And also, it is way out of the hustle and bustle of the main part of the Hospital. I think this is really cool, its bad enough having children in hospital anyway, so this is a good thing to at least, put a smile on there faces, and make it seem a little better whilst there.

I was lucky enough to only be sent to hospital many times, at an age i can’t remember it all, so i don’t really know what it feels like to be a child in Hospital really. But im sure its not the best place in the world to be, for kid or adult. This is a cool feature though. Nice work and a big thanks to the Mike Lori Charity, for doing this at Windsor Regional! Put a smile on my face!

Welcome to Windsor…Where you Speed or Crash!

Im thinking there should be a new sign when entering Windsor from now on, and it should say ‘Welcome to Windsor, where you get a new crash or car incident, EVERY DAY!’ …Enjoy your Stay.

Something like that anyway. It seems there are more and more car accidents, or crimes involving cars nowadays in Windsor, then, ive seen in a long while. Just today, i wrote a post about the E.C Row crash, and everyone in Windsor knows there is always something cracking off on the 401! And now, i read this…Courtesy of The Windsor Star!

A man, was speeding in his truck, doing around double the given speed limit, cops followed him, he wouldn’t listen or obey them, which obviously lead into a chase around Tecumseh. Untill, he pulled into a strangers private driveway, and ran into the house! Like, O-M-G Come on seriously! Why?? What would you do if you was in the house, and suddenly, a guy runs in, flashing lights outside? Hmm…Come on Windsor, use cars for what they are for! Not speeding, committing crimes or getting into accidents! Okay, Rant over…

Crash Victim takes a turn for the Worse

So, E.C Row Expressway on Wednesday night in Windsor, saw what The Windsor Star called ‘Spectacular’, and looking at the picture on the article, O-M-G!!

The Driver heading westbound apparently, crossed the Grass separating the two sides of the Expressway, and collided with another vehicle. Now, according to Reports, the Driver of the Eastbound car, which was hit, was conscious at the time paramedics attended the scene. Thats a whole new story now. Apparently he has taken a turn for the worse, and his injuries, are beleived to have changed!

Something must have caused the female driver, to cross the Grassy area, and into the Eastbound lanes, to cause this accident!

Hopefully this guy will recover, and be okay. According to Windsor Police, No charges have been laid yet, and an investigation into the accident, and why it happened, is still on going.

Once Again…City Hall attracts Hundreds!

So Yesterday saw hundred flock outside Windsor City Hall in Downtown, protesting prorogue of Parliament. Now i must admit, before yesterday, i didn’t even know what ‘Prorogue’ meant! Anyway, now i do, and…They have a point!

Windsor City Hall is a place that attracts large amount of people outside, all for the wrong reasons though. There is never a dull moment outside City Hall walls, as we can see from the picture taken of last years loooong strike!

The Rally began at around 1.PM, and actually had a podium on site, allowing anyone from the audience to go up, and share views. Which is pretty cool. Better than just one person taking the center stage. Windsor wasn’t the only City to have this going on, oh no…Toronto, Calgary and all the way over to BC in Vancouver saw it! You can also join the Facebook group for this ‘Canadians Against Proroguing Parliment’, which is apparently where they all discuss these Rallys!

Its a Sad time for Windsorites….Money Wise

As the Sun sets, so does the Money for families and unemployed in Windsor it seems. Jobs are just, like thin air right now, and have been for a while. Residents of Windsor can safely say, that the Recession has hit hard for The Rose City.

Just today, i was reading an Article in The Windsor Star, about a Resident who is finding money tough right now, so he had to dig into old treasures, and sell them, to get cash. That to me, and i guess many others, is sad. When you have collected items through childhood and kept them through your life, and then bringing yourself to sell those items, it shows how hard Windsor has been affected by it all.

Apparently, we are all in a recovering state from it all, we shall soon see. I know plenty of people who are still unemployed in Windsor, and just cannot find the jobs anywhere. Very Strange.

So…Windsor, are you FOR or AGAINST it?

So its been in the Press for the last few days…are you for or against it is the big question?

$7billion has been put into this, and a connection with Korean Giant Samsung, will bring a new ‘Green’ energy contract to Ontario. According to the Article yesterday published in The Windsor Star, the reporter couldn’t find a Politician to comment on this. Kinda strange!

You can already see already that this is going to have a positive view from people, and a negative. Thats what normally happens with stuff like this anyway. Obviously the PLUS side to this, are the amount of jobs that are said to be created through this deal. Actually, around 16,000 to be precise. Windsor-Essex however will still have to negotiate how much of this they are going to get. But either way, Jobs will be created, which is what the area needs right now. As the recent Job expo in Windsor didn’t go down to well. We shall Seeee! This goes perfectly well with the Windsor Airport Cargo plans EH!
